Black History Month
I’d say it will be hard to find a person in the United States who hasn’t come across or even been impacted in some way by the sounds of MOTOWN.
Since 1959, they have sold hundreds of millions of records worldwide. From the innocence of The Jackson 5’s ABC, 123 to Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s soaring “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” to the social justice of Stevie Wonder’s “Living for the City”, Motown has produced over 180 #1 Hits.
Presently, the music of Motown continues to lift spirits, transcend race, speak truth to power, unite communities and live in the hearts of millions across our country and the world.
Turn it up, get down and celebrate Black History Month!
